Setiap lembarnya memaksa saya untuk bercermin atas setiap laku diri. Melalui puisi, Alfa berusaha memahamkan kita betapa banyak kesederhanaan dalam hidup yang amat sering kita abaikan: jelas terlihat namun lebih sering tak tampak. Dengan apik, untaian bait terangkai sebagai pengingat atas setiap khilaf dan lupa. Betapa kita sangat membutuhkan karya yang melembutkan hati serupa buku ini. Untuk Alfa, terima kasih atas ‘alarm’ yang begitu baik ini.

At first I thought that poem always tends to make things more complicated. But here in this small book, I do not feel that way. The poems, the way they tell us a particular message is just simple and clear. As not-really-poem-lover, I like it! This book gives me another excitement for enjoying poems. I really appreciate that most of the essential messages are correlated with Islamic values. I can tell by reading this book that “love” should be a very broad terms to the point that we shall show our love for ourselves, our environment, and definitely our Almighty Allah before else.
